Time to post your photos...

taken during the DU black out. I of course started this idea at the last minute forgetting I had to do non fun stuff but I did make it a point to take a couple. All the IR talk reminded me I wanted to see how animals would do and used Simple Simon the Silky Siamese since he was handy. The dogs wouldn't cooperate. Might have to try the birds one day though.

Here he is on a sheet he has claimed for himself.

And here he must of thought I was using video since he decided to roll around.

I used flash since I needed to and his eyes reflected back since he stares right into the flash. I decided to leave them glowing.

So where do you find so many vibrantly colored bottle like that? The dog is adorable and looks deep in thought (or suffering having his/her photo taken).

He indulged me and let me know it.

I pick them up all over. Anywhere. Everywhere. Yard sales, Goodwill, bookoo, some new. I only have a few out because I have so many I don't know where to put them all.

Love the tea pot it was made for the flowering teas. I think I would of either crinkled the paper more or kept it smooth. Leaning toward smooth since the tea pot has such clean lines and is clear. Also if you use a piece of black board/paper opposite the light but out of the photo you can bring out the edges of clear glass more. I would love to see what you would do with a set of lights though you might find other things not getting done once you started playing around with them.

Lighting is always an issue in my place! Windows everywhere that cause problems and reflections I do not want.

I know what you mean about not getting other things done once a photo project is started. I've spend many an afternoon taking photo, after photo, after photo in the hopes of getting that "perfect" shot.

Love the eyes. I missed the challenge, oops. Here are a couple from last weekend, when people were starting to act like spring around here.

January?
