The photos are excellent. Kudos.

I used 1/80th of a second, but it doesn't matter. The flash should provide ALL the light.

Also, I'm using an off-camera flash with a wireless trigger.

camera on bulb,shutter open
drop fruit and manually trigger the flash

Now I'm going to go play too!
