(1,977 posts)I shot this a long time ago but I think it was one of those overcast New York days and it was shot against an evenly lit grayish white sky. No HDR - haven't tried it yet. Just worked it in silver efx. The original color picture shows the aged green copper of the clock. I just prefer the b&w version because the details seem to show better.

(22,380 posts)A favorite - the detail is astonishing. I'm glad you answered with some details about it. I like it enough to want to see the color version, but I know in advance it can't be improved upon.

(22,380 posts)actually now a toss-up. The unexpected color of light teal is great. There is a loss of detail. If I were in picasa (my tool of choice) I would first add a little light, then slide the shadow slider to get a bit more detail.
Either way a very satisfying photograph.
