Related: About this forumRoad trip to Homer -- just a few pics
We went down to Homer (225 miles southwest of here) to visit my brother and family Monday through Wednesday. I never tire of this drive.
Here, just a little ways out of Anchorage at Beluga Point, we spied some Dall sheep. There were about seven of them, but I especially liked these two.
Here is one of the many "Summit Lakes" in Alaska.
Tuesday was gray and rainy, but the weather created some nice atmosphere for "where boats go to die."
This is the sunrise from my brother's front yard. From their living room, they can see four glaciers across Kachemak Bay. This was as good as it got Wednesday; it poured down rain all the way home.
I'll try to post some more later. Politics is getting in the way of my life. Grrr...

The perfect reflection in the lake...
Where boats go to die!
But I just really love the glaciers...just the hint of them gives such an amazing feeling to the last picture. I feel the power of the ice.
Wonderful.
Thank you!
