Photography
Related: About this forumA few shots from today
Started the day dropping off my print at the gallery (but first I dropped the frame on the way out the door--fortunate no damage occurred).
Then headed to an abandoned house full of stuff...specifically lots of cookbooks, photo slides and information about pigeons. I don't know why pigeons. There was also a newspaper there from 1932 (didn't get a picture) and a 1928 Dodge Brothers Coupe (didn't get a real good picture of that either, sadly) and an older Mercedes 230SL (picture below).
This looks like a slide of a bunch of barrels dumped somewhere. I can't make out the words on the slide (I think it says Memphis Dump)
Then I headed to a nearby town and did a spot of street photography but didn't stay long 'cause it was cold.
Two friends saying goodbye after a late lunch
We were told we couldn't photograph at this spot, so, you know, I snuck one.
A sign-spinner who was very happy to have his photo taken
And now I'm sitting home nice and toasty warm ready for a nap but it's too late for one. Boo!

(14,040 posts)It's the two things I do... abandonments and street photography. I don't understand the variety myself.
