I spent two weeks in Alaska, one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

(46,436 posts)1. I love this photo
It looks kind of like Alaska in April. Lol. Where are you exactly?

I would go nuts if I were in Alaska.

(46,436 posts)3. Oh, I bet you wouldn't.
. It's actually been warmer up here (this winter at least) than it has been down there. We haven't had any snow since early January.

Of course that's what you meant. Think you'll ever make it up here? We know all the good places.

or take a cruise through the Inside Passage? Either is wonderful. We spent two weeks down in Southeast last May, traveling mostly by ferry, and thoroughly loved it.

(1,096 posts)14. 1 week on land, 1 week cruise south, down the inside passage to Vancouver.
Started in Fairbanks, took the train to Denali, spent 2 days there (my favorite). Then down to Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula, cruised the rest of the way. So beautiful everywhere we went!
