I think my ospreys have moved on. A vineyard went in under the pole where they've built a nest for the last several years, and I haven't seen them reappear this year.

I'm eagerly awaiting what I can see of the nestlings. Have heard them, have seen a parent with a fish at the nest, but its not likely I'll be able to see little ones until they grow and start fledging.

which is about 30 feet off the ground (because we're built on a hill)
in 2011--the year we built the house. We've had occupants of that
nest every year since. Waiting to see if we get occupants this year!
The only way I can get photos of them, though, is through the
screened porch side.

across the yard (beside my cottage) and down a slope. No way I could get close enough, without helicopter, to see INTO the nest! Nice that you get so close!

There were 3 babies in it--that I could see--in June 2011. It was fun to watch them bringing food
back to feed the babies.
