the first time I hosted I spent a sleepless night. Honestly.
Thanks for the hard and nerve wracking work.

Looking for some books to take to the beach next week. I wonder
if they have it at our library?

Disorganization was my problem. I just didn't think it out or ask others for advice. Ignorance of the polling feature caused some issues.

I might fire up a spreadsheet and see if that will help.

I don't ever want to win! I spend half and hour to just figure out how to post a picture here. My skills are very rudimentary.

I just cannot believe the awesomeness of the photographers here on DU. This was so hard to choose.

the responsibility by being mediocre at best. . I screwed up and posted a photo others liked. ;

Except for a morning of panic and flop sweat, it's been a good experience.

I know that I cannot ever win, but then again, I just like taking pictures and just hope for something that is in focus. Cheap camera, no accessories, no creativity....just enjoy it. Like singing (to the chagrin or anyone around me).

The Finals are a piece of cake compared to the prelims.

Looks great! Terrific theme. Everyone really rose to the challenge.

I notice that the time left is 6 days + for poll 1 and unlimited for poll 2 and poll 3.

I gotta' tell ya', it sure was a thrill being out front for a while!

The others are now set to one week, but in reality there's about 48 hours hours left.

It's thrilling until you realize you might win, then the panic sets in.
