Happy and Lucky Children in Arenal Costa Rica - A Yoga lesson in a one room school

I'm fortunate to visit with friends who live in Costa Rica. Yesterday my camera and I got to shadow my friend when she was teaching her weekly Yoga class to the children.

You will be seeing one family's worth of children arrive with their mother. The kid was driving the ATV, then you see the school building and a few shots of the happy kids.

I hope you are having a wonderful time.

Were you tempted to join the yoga lesson? It does look fun. Good job documenting this.

I was much happier with a camera. I was introduced and got permission around the circle to take the photos.
Though they hammed a bit for the pictures their dedication was obvious.
The husband of my yoga teaching friend wants to give personal Karate lessons for a small fee on that same cement slab, in order to use the money to repair the cracks and then paint the floor.
Onward and upward. But they all have government health insurance and an abundance of good affordable dentists.

We'll take the photos and make a bulletin board with printouts from them. The kids will like seeing themselves.

the joy of these children - even though they were "hamming it up."

What fun photos!
