supermoon serendipity

I didn't have much reason to believe that I'd come home with anything special. I've wanted a full-frame DSLR from the beginning but, this is one of the few situations where I miss my old x1.6 sensor. There was a lot of haze on the eastern horizon as well which was likely to prevent catching the moon in close proximity to the horizon. The supermoon didn't turn out to be the only subject available from my chosen vantage point, though...
