Mostly it's the lighting, really, although the 135/2 DC is arguably the all-time best 35mm portrait lenses.

The scene is lit with a softbox from above and center as the key light, a ringlight around the lens for fill, and one or two (I can't remember) green gelled flashguns on the background.

My wife and I pay more attention to him than my daughter does anymore. He's a pretty neat bunny. I can put him either on the couch or the bed and he won't hop off. He's very gentle and doesn't mind being held.
