The first one is also good, but it lacks the symmetry of the others.

(60,074 posts)the shoreline, the stump and the two cypress move the eye to the Cypress at the point.
Still for me, it was what the light was doing. It removed detail, simplifying the image. It gave the illusion of mist.

What is keeping you in? I hope it isn't bad health, or injury. My bad health put me out of the DU loop, at least with the creative souls in the Photogroup.

today hiking at Ravine Gardens State Park in Palatka, Florida... a marvelous, beautiful park created by the CCC (damn why don't we bring that back??)

(31,392 posts)I wish I'd known about this park: my now deceased father-in-law lived in Palatka
some 30+ years ago. We visited him there, once, years ago, but I don't remember
him suggesting we take a walk through this park.
