Look for a Scott Kelby's World Wide Photo Walk near you. It's on Oct 11. People of all levels take part. You will see all kinds of equipment from iPhones, and cheap pocket cameras, up to some sophisticated kit.

One near me is in Danville, Ky, a lovely little college town.

Splendid colors of purple and red with a splashes of orange as the sun sets with the dark shadows of the landscaping...

Glad I got it as it's overcast now and will rain later and into tomorrow, so I probably won't see sunsets for a few days, and will miss the Full Moon!

and a gift as you mention 'over the past year,' today is my 1 year anniversary of living here!


I actually didn't get the camera until November, but its been quite an experience!
