I enjoyed looking at these. The water in that next-to-last shot is amazing!

or whale sharks (these are common sights in the Musandam).

Instead we saw some huge scary looking sea snakes (I didn't even realize we had them here). Of course they appeared when the camera was put away.

Looks like you aren't having any trouble with it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to do things with mine. I had a SLR about 30 years ago, but have used nothing but various incarnations of point-and-shoot since then. The switch to DSLR is giving me plenty of challenges.

Canon is still pretty much tops for the interface and software built-in to the camera.

I am going to have to spend some quality time with the manual.

It was just a shade over $500 for the version that with the 42 AND the 200 lens... I almost passed-out when I saw it was $900+ on Amazon. The lens alone is $250. We used to get good electronics bargains here in the UAE. This is the first 'REAL' one I have gotten in years.
