It is quite an honor, really! I wanted everybody to win. Now I have to decide what to do with the prize money. Maybe go on a world tour, taking photos at all the places I've always wanted to see plus other places I've seen here in the short time I've been here!
And rd, you bet I'll be PMing when the time rolls around. Is there a primer posted somewhere on what to do? I figure I can just see how others have done it and do the same. But I still have questions.

Also, I was planning on driving from Portland to the LA area right after Thanksgiving. Dec.1st is the following Monday, and I might be just arriving there. (I might stop and take a few pictures along the way!) I might not be able to start the contest until the 2nd or 3rd at the latest.
Has anybody driven Hwy 395 that time of year? I'm thinking of taking that route. I've only been on the stretch between Carson City and Bridgeport, but that was in September. If there's snow, and chains are needed, forget it! I'll just take 101, or (sigh) I-5.
