I love the colors and the sharpness of the details.

The second and third pictures (the blossoming branch and the bee closeup) are my favorites! But they're all wonderful...

Ya done good!

Thanks for sharing these, my dear alfredo!

3. If you like to use filters, a graduated ND filter is a nice thing to have

You could have used it on the first picture to darken the sky.

collection. Right now the only kit lens I have is the much maligned* Oly 14~42mm. Polarizers and graduated ND's don't work well because the front element rotates when focusing. Any adjustment to the filter causes the lens to refocus. I have my eye on two primes, the Panny 14mm and the Sigma 30mm 2.8.

Most of what you see me post is done with legacy glass.

*Slow AF and the rotating front element. Someday it will be replaced with the Panny 14~45mm.

5. I don't use filters that much anymore

Most of the filter effects I need can be done with Color Efex Pro or Silver Efex (for B&W) during post processing. I have circular polarizers that will fit all my lenses, that I use on rare occasions. I have a pair of linear polarizers that I use for neutral density when rotated against each other. I have a drawer full of filters that I just don't use anymore.

I am working with some images from today. Resynthisize has been my friend today. There was some garbage in the stream that had to be removed.

there seems to be too much work around the house in the yard & alike with the early Spring weather that keeps me home on my days off. Also caught a notice on their FB page that they cancelled the Spring Daffodil Show as they had already bloomed, so I guess there is no really hurry for those flowers. I do enjoy the place and it is not too far from where I work.

My favorite is the lilly pads. Although not as lush as your arboretum (yet), it may be advantaged to head out there and take a peek.
