I've noticed that I rarely use my auto focus lenses. Manual focus is so much fun.

I really like the way you captured that old iron surface. I can really feel the warmth and texture, and the color is great. Reminds me of my youth hiking around old mining camps in the Sierra Nevada's, and seeing the abandoned equipment (now pretty much all scooped up by collectors, etc.)

my two favs are the top two. Absolutely stunning. I hope one day that I can learn to take such beautiful pictures. I only have a point and shoot but they say it can be done. Time will tell. Thank you for these. Wow!

Don't worry about the camera, just work on the basics of light and composition.
