It was a bitter sweet day for the Progressoid home.

An era has passed. We sold most of our darkroom equipment. An Omega D550, lenses, trays, timers, graduated cylinders, film drying cabinet, etc. It's kind of hard to see the old stuff go. But we're mostly digital now and this stuff hasn't seen any use in years.

On the plus side, it's going to a good home - a young photographer that shoots 4x5 and does alternative processing. So that made my wife happy since she used to do lots of that kind of stuff.

We did keep a few things though. Like the Gralab timer. That's too cool to get rid of.

They keep us holding on to things longer than we should.

I am glad that you found someone who will appreciate the equipment and put it to good use.

We should have done it a long time ago.

the new owner seemed excited about the stuff. She said it felt like Christmas.
