and brought it back to my room to photograph it... didn't use my good camera but still like the shot... they are so pretty sitting in the grass!

Odd, the only mimosa I am familiar with is a tree. And even more interesting is that the leaves look the same. The leaves of the tree will fold up when touched, and that always made me smile. I see that they are not even the same genus, but both are sensitive to touch.

I learned something new today!
