(130,956 posts)It did surprise me, as this flower took a real beating yesterday, in the wind, and really looked 'unhappy,' but when I went out to check on the geese and ducks today and looked at Rose, there she was, in just the right light, too!

(130,956 posts)Good to hear that. I may order a daisy bouquet for my daughter to hold at her wedding. She loves them!

(47,482 posts)You'll probably see more of me as I spend most of my computer time on Flickr. I forgot that DU had a photography group, so this will be fun for me.
We have fun!

(18,219 posts)I still have roses, but not for long. Mine are not opening are nice as those...I think the weather has been too up and down here. I will probably lose all of them in the next few days, because it is supposed to get ugly.

(130,956 posts)Weather here's been up and down too, was very windy and pretty chilly (got into 40s at night) a few days ago, but high today was about 70, and HIGH 70s forecast tomorrow. There's one more bud on this bush, so we'll see. I won't be here from Wed. afternoon maybe til Friday sometime.
