A sunset for elleng... (Original Post) Adsos Letter Nov 2014 OP
Is the first one on a salt marsh at low tide? Hoppy Nov 2014 #1
Yes, it is a marshy/seaweedy area, but I doubt it ever freezes. Adsos Letter Nov 2014 #4

I get some great photos at a salt marsh, particularly when it is partially frozen over.

It just doesn't get quite that cold over there (that I'm aware of). The first photo is actually looking out over the southern end of Bodega Bay, just north of Tomales Bay.

If you have GoogleEarth installed, the coordinates where I took the first shot are: 38°19'22.92"N 123° 2'17.60"W

The second was taken at Nick's Cove, on Tomales Bay: 38°12'3.69"N 122°55'18.00"W
