For those here who knew and loved ConsAreLiars,

I just received word that he has passed away. I will always be indebted to him and F. Gordon (among others) who taught me nearly everything I know about photography and gave me so much encouragement as I was learning.

Rest in peace, dear Cons.

I already missed his photos here but to know he is no longer filling the world with his views & beauty is so sad. Rest in peace and healing to all that cared for him.

but I had continued contact through another website. None of us had any idea that he was even sick, so his death came as a complete shock. It wasn't that long ago that he was sharing great stories about his time in Afghanistan and continuing to give me lots of strokes on my photography. I will really miss him.
