"Body" only cost is about $300 and with 14-42 compact EZ lens is about $400.

(14,559 posts)It would seem to be awkward to maneuver both camera and tablet. The concept video shows a phone holder that makes the two devices into a single hand held product.
I don't know what the range of Bluetooth is but that combination would be ideal for remote wildlife photography. Place the small discrete camera near a bird nest and stand off at a distance watching on the tablet. I've done that with with SLRs to good advantage but you have to make a lot of exposures and hope you get something good.
DJI, largest producer of civilian drones (hate that term, they are unmanned aerial vehicles or UAVs) has partnered with Oly to upgrade still photography quality. From the description of the application is sounds like the AO1. They experimented with Canon & Nikon but the weight excluded all but the largest aircraft. Besides, the Bluetooth connectivity and the bare bones sensor+lens mount+memory card package is ideal for the DJI application.
Seems the Sony/Oly partnership is working out pretty well.
