... but I am surprised that the Nat Geo photo editor didn't rotate the pic so that the water line was perfectly horizontal. Irina C. was obviously shooting from the hip, so to speak, on rough terrain, so the unevenness in the original is perfectly understandable, but the editor should have corrected the angle. That's Photography 101.

The water is so blue, everything else is so stark. And then there is the fox. Lovely.

I'm guessing that it wasn't too long ago that the glacier reached the lake.

The fox is just the icing on the cake. The mountain, the glacier, the incredible water...all are wonderful to view.
