Looks like CC has been doing some house cleaning.

I am guessing that the list of hosts was getting rather large and in need of some pruning.
I may have lost my god powers, but all is good.

It kind of lost it's cachet after the admins shut down the hosts forum. Peeking under that tent was a whoot! I never got to use my godlike powers around here anyways.

you can pin the submission thread & coment thread to the top. That way the rest of us can find it easy. Not so bad now but there was a time the contest could end up on the second page and be hard to find. Also lets you pin the links to the polls in GD making it easier for everyone to find & vote. Then when it is over you just unpin them and let them sink.

But I got tired and went to bed. Some I left if they were really active (Peggy) and some I deleted because they had no post in the last 90 days.at all next to them. Then there were those that host other groups that probably require move work. I don't think I have ever removed anyone unless I was specifically ask to. I have had a couple people ask me to take away their host powers and feel free to ask me or anyone above you on the list if you want them gone sooner. I really did get tired because it sends a message to my in-box every single time.

So if you really want to be a host still let me know and if you really want to not be a host let me know, please. I do want to leave plenty of people so just someone is around most of the time in case someone needs help. Not like I know what I'm doing and bet there are others that know more.
Given a little longer every person in the group would be a host. I'm surprised the top 5 haven't gotten a note from the admins saying, this is not how we planned it to work. lol

Edited to add- I was gently reminded to grant host powers to our June & Spring Contest host. Then found where the host were listed and though OMG we've been lax on keeping thing tidy,. lol
