I tried out the slideshow function embedded in my blog, and next I am going to try out video. I got smugmug because of the HD video but I have underutilized it. Let me see if copying the photo here works too.

I had posted earlier that maybe we go to a gallery type of thing instead of contests. Then people can submit whenever they want and the viewers can post comments on them. It's not a contest but on the other hand, no one has to host and post etc.
I like SmugMug ok I suppose. Since I'm just starting out with photos I don't really know a good hosting site from a bad. Though I did have some on another site and they disappeared! That's why I am reposting to SmugMug

thread on any type of photos, including asking for others to post types or any photo. You are only limited by your imagination on what, when, why & how (and well the DU rules & software.)

I particularly like the pelican photos, simply because they have started coming back to my area - we're excited bout that.
