venus and jupiter

venus and jupiter thru thin clouds. 4 moons of jupiter are visible, in order from the planet they are io,ganymede,europa and callisto on the other side



thru the clouds


a shorter exposure showing venus as a crescent. when viewed from the earth venus has phases like the moon

Too cloudy here. Did catch Jupiter and a little shadow of Venus. MAYBE better tomorrow, as it had been yesterday.

We have no stars in the summer. These are good photos. I like that you can see the moons.
