Perfect Camouflage.

I have been under the weather and now that I'm moving about again I'm deleting photos to make room for more.
This one is nothing special, but I remember being so struck by how the bird blended into the landscape. Perfect matches. And I don't know enough about doves (is that what it is?) to know if the coloring is ordinary.

The color seemed unusual no matter what it is. I stalked it to get this little shot, and tried not to scare it. It was fun!

Doves are smaller, their heads look a little different, and the colors are kind of reversed with the head being lighter in shade than the wings.
