Seacliff Squirrel!

Took a road trip to SoCal last week and stopped at a vista point to view the Pacific. Got mobbed by a gang of very friendly squirrels who are obviously well fed and looking for treats. This one was the most brazen and posed for me.

Almonds are tasty! She'd need the protein and oils. Solly Mack Jul 2015 #5

Ha! I love your squirrel!

Very cute!

Mine didn't like me at all, and I thought it would run away...then when I stood still, it relaxed as well.

Yours is a real show-off! Lucky you!

LOVE the pictures!

They were pretty aggressive and chased us around a bit. My travelling companion got back in the car as they were kind of freaking her out.

Could've been, there were four or five adults running around but didn't see any small ones. We left them some almonds.

The only squirrel I saw at Santa Monica pier was this one. I have no idea what the chainsaw was all about, and didn't wait around to find out.

Whenever I go down there to visit my daughter in Mar Vista, I always take a full day to walk back and forth between the Santa Monica pier and the Venice pier at least three or four times. That stretch just brims with photo ops.
