Another roadside attraction...

Just for fun. Snowy and I stopped at a rest stop in North Carolina today on our way to Asheville and guess what
what was grazing across from the pet walking area?

She was really fascinated! Unfortunately, she lost interest before I could get a really good
shot.

Just thought I'd post as an idea that might cause someone to think of a roadside attraction
in a different way.

This was the focus of her attraction

and a bit like home. You're right, that road side attraction theme can be interpreted in lots of ways and the eye of the beholder does not even have to be you.
If you were on I-40 going to Asheville, you passed within a mile of my house.
Could you be the third DUer I ever meet in person?
(Handmade 34 and Bluedigger are the others) and I came really close to meeting Mz Pip

but it was a very quick up/back trip--planned on Wednesday-- and I also had Snowy with me. I wasn't sure until Thursday night I was going to make the trip. I went to attend a celebration of life service for someone I'd known years ago in St. Joseph, MO. I almost flew back to St. Joe last weekend (her family had a celebration there, too) but
it was just too pricey spur of the moment. She moved to Asheville a year ago.
She had been hospitalized at Duke and I went to see her in August and 10 days later she was gone: at age 59!
An amazing woman. There must have been almost 100 people there yesterday and she'd only lived there a year!

If you come this direction--Chapel Hill--let me know!
