I especially love the Barn Owl photo.

I rarely see owls that I can ID by sight. It is almost always at night, if they are huge they are Great Horned Owls. If they are not those enormous birds they are usually Barred Owls here and some Barn Owls but I never can tell unless I hear them.

I have a smallish owl that hangs out at my barn, probably not in it but something rather large is there from time to time according to what I find there. I do see one sitting on the feeders at night. It is not afraid to let me get close but it is too dark to ID. Probably a Barred Owl.

Anyway, just a little owl talk and a well done for you with these photos. LOVE the Barn Owl.

Congrats, how wonderful! I've loved writing all my life, and done everything from advertising copy to editorials to songs to reviews to technical manuals to blog content. But it's still a thrill for me when someone else decides that you've created something worth publishing!
