My oldest daughter is due with our first grandkid, so we drove down yesterday to be here for the Big Event. Stopped outside Gilroy at a roadside stand for fresh garlic:

Grandchildren are the best. 
Isn't Gilroy like the garlic capital of the world or something?
I wondered if you would notice the Grandpa thing. We're down her but still waiting. Beth is ready, but Baby is taking her sweet time (or should I say she is on time, as the due date isn't til tomorrow).
Yep, Gilroy has yearly garlic festivals. It smells wonderful when driving through that area.
