1- Click the blue "Start a Discussion" button in General Discussion. Upper left hand side.

2 - Choose General Discussion when the warning page pops up. Right side. New page pops up.

3 - Scroll down page. Click "Create a Poll".

4 - Set poll for 72 hours. Drop screen just under the subject area.

5- Introduce the theme. Welcome the people to the contest. This part is really up to you. You can look at previous contests and get an idea of what goes there.

6- Post photos with titles - and number them.

7- Copy photo titles into corresponding poll number. Double check. I often make a number mistake.

8 - Click "Post my thread".

After you get your threads started -

If more than one thread, always create a link back to the other threads.

Thread 1 will have links to Thread 2, 3, etc.
Thread 2 will have a link to threads 1, 3, etc.

Look over for any mistakes. No biggie if you find one. We all make mistakes. Fix anything you need to fix.

Mostly, relax. Enjoy. Take your time. Don't beat yourself up.

What a great reply, i'm sitting at a rest area on the interstate, and I am reading that and so happy this got handled so well. I'm talking into my phone, I'm not very good at that. I think this reply should be saved and or added to one of the pinned how to threads

it should be part of the information a host gets when they win a contest.

I have most of that copied on a post it.

I always review old contests and my post it before hosting because I always forget something.

I've done this once and I need to be retrained. I'm saving this in case I need it again...........
