A couple of London shots

I really didn't take many shots--we were there for only a few days--and busy running to museums/shows/dinner reservations.

This first one is a portion of the old Roman Wall (about 200 AD) around London. It's just outside the Museum of London near the Barbican. We stopped in to
the museum late in the afternoon. My husband wanted to see the exhibit about Mithras because he was going to visit Lullingstone--an old Roman villa-
just outside of London the next day. We had been there together--years ago--so I went to the Victoria & Albert instead to see an amazing special exhibit of
jewelry from India, the Theatre and Performance collection, and the Julia Margaret Cameron photography exhibit. No photos were allowed in the jewelry exhibit.

It was a rainy Sunday morning when I walked from where we were staying to the V & A. I passed hundreds and hundreds of parents and kids queuing up to get in to the Natural History
Museum.

There is a gorgeous Dale Chihuly glass sculpture hanging from the ceiling in the entrance to the V&A.

but this is the best of what I took. One of the few trips we've done where I hardly took out my camera.
We were there in mid-May a couple of years ago and the weather was terrific. I took lots and lots of shots
on that trip.

Quintessential London photo taken on High Street Kensington on that trip: red double decker buses, London taxi, bike rider...old buildings, spires, blue sky, clouds,
green leaves.

I love the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture, I'd hate to have to keep it free of dust and cobwebs!

I had a friend that was a follower of Mithra. I found out by accident when I walked into a room where he was performing a ceremony. He was seated in the middle of of a ring of candles. He felt he had to explain.
