The moon is very nice! And I really like the last one, the pine cone from the top. It's an unusual point of view.
You should get away more often! I hope things are better for you...

(24,146 posts)the chorus of the frogs, the buzz of the humming birds, the squirrels chattering and the breeze in the pines, the sizzle of bacon and the coffee roiling in the percolater.
i don't know that things are any clearer, but it was good to breathe some fresh air.

(24,146 posts)it's a crime to not go enjoy it, even if it means losing your mind on the moron in front of you who can't drive in the mountains.
I live on a hill ⛰ (by Colorado's standards) and you should she the idiots trying to drive it. 🚗

(24,146 posts)i headed up pringree park road from poudre canyon, west of fort collins. the drive took me through the high park burn area and there is still a lot of black off pingree park road from the fire 20 years ago. it made me kind of sad.

(36,482 posts)I remember it being really gorgeous. There are trails in Boulder where you see remains of old fires, too. My hiking partner, who lives in the mountains, knows all of them - the names of the fires & when they occurred. She's had two scary times with fire. And flooding, too. Mountain living isn't for that faint of heart.
