One of my faves in this series is the green bottle fly shot.... very pleasing composition!

(90,792 posts)It was 110 degrees this time last year. It's getting up there this year. Yesterday was my year mark for being in LA. (NOLA) Should be nice and toasty for you come July.
Love the swamp.
Have you been on the Creole Trail? Lots of wildlife. Starts just below Lake Charles - the welcome center in Lake Charles, off 10, can tell you all about it. We're going later this year and drive/walk it for a few hours.
WOW! That is a warm (hot!) work 'trail' to travel by, especially in the summer.
I've been curious about your job for a while now and every time you mention it I get the itch to ask, but I won't - and don't tell me!!
I enjoy imagining that you're up to something mysterious and wonderful!
