perseid meteor shower

drove about an hour east of austin to shoot the meteors
saw a decent number but of course they were where the camera wasnt looking managed to get photos of just a couple before i switch to my fisheye to get a 180 degree view. then i got lucky and caught a fireball bright enough to leave a smoke trail





no meteors in this shot but i thought it was cool with the andromeda galaxy near the top and the pleiades emerging from teh sky glow

plus after being up til 4 am shooting the 2 nights before meant no way i could go out anyway

going to be cloudy for the next few days here so i think im done with the perseids for the year
