Shrooms by Cell Phone

Got these while out hunting Pokemon in the rain. (Yes, I hunt Pokemon and I like it!) Lot of rain here in Louisiana right now. It's only "puddling" here but areas around us have been flooding. Puddling (here) means there's standing water in your yard or on the side of the road but it's still not on the roads or inside houses. The Herons and Egrets have been enjoying the feeding holes springing up caused by the puddling. Can't get close enough with a cell phone to get their picture and I don't use my camera in the rain.

All kinds.

Thanks. I was happy with what the cell phone could do. Now I have to play with it to see what else it can do.

What I do remember is laughing a lot. And throwing a lot of big rocks into the water (we weren't around anyone else).

Yeah, I'm thinking we didn't catch much after the first couple hours...

was going to enjoy an evening of watching something stupid when several of my mother's sisters showed up. My mom was the baby of 9 girls.

I spent the evening sitting around with my mom and my aunts trying to act normal - which of course means I was acting anything but...

I remember a lot of smiling and giggling and that's about all I remember of that night.

Nice shrooms!

I have a family picture of some bad flooding in New Iberia in 1927.

I thought about getting pictures of the flooding in the next parish over but the roads are still bad.

There were so many I had to watch my step to keep from crushing a few. There were fairy rings everywhere. It was downright magical.

Thanks!
