I got into my car and went to the mountains. It's a place where I can find peace if I need to and it calms my soul. Thanks to global warming the weather is about a month behind. We have low 80's in the Carolina Mountains, and the colors are glorious.
One more day, and maybe some more photos tomorrow.

We were up to Asheville area on Sat. NC mtns are lovely this time of year.
It's in the heart of Cherokee - less than a half a mile from the Indian Museum and near the Cataloochee Valley and the elks. Good catch.
