This toad doesn't miss too many meals. He likes to burrow in the cracks around the cement. (the high groundwater causes the cement to crack and break) One morning I'm going to wake up to find the entire deck down the hill. (my yard floods all the time)
The fun part is watching him squeeze in the cracks. The crack shown is smaller than it looks.

(22,380 posts)Though I must say I find toads pretty creepy, you brought the critter near to me by the time I got to the eye.
I also like the camouflage Gecko a lot, along with the way you think.
If I can find my own toad photos I'll show you some in return.

(2,778 posts)The toad looks like a bufo frog. They are not good to have around, they're an invasive species that kills more dogs with the poison from the big glands next to the eye's than you could shake a stick at! They grow to about 10" in length
