Updating the thread of contests and names of winners

In preparation for the October contest, which I will be hosting, I went to see that thread and realized it has not been updated in a while.

https://www.democraticunderground.com/10364949
It is pinned at the top of the photography group

I wanted to add:
May 2017 - The sacred mystery - justiceischeap

Spring Contest - Seasonal - Mz Pip

could not find a contest in either June or July

and then
August - Heat - Mira and
finally
Summer Contest - Seasonal - mnhtnbb

I ran across the sad fact that the thread is locked, superpowers won't unlock it for me, and I had to abandon the chore.
Please, would whoever can figure it out add the information?

Thank you in advance.

and since June is when the Spring Contest runs, that was it for June and yes, Mz Pip won the Spring Contest.

The winner of May was to have run the July contest, but was a no-show, and no contest was held.

The rest of what you listed is correct.

I think someone has to get DU'er Celebration to unlock the thread to update it? I don't know how that works.

Celebration can unlock that thread.

On another note, did the place you stay at in the Keys survive Irma? I know that some of your fav haunts, or at least places you take pictures of were hit pretty hard. The last of my Florida friends/relatives finally got their power back today. Houses/homes seem to have survived though most had yard clean up to do from trees, debris.

Marathon is the key at the front end of the seven mile bridge, and Big Pine Key is the one on the back end - going South. That's where I usually stay, and that is where the hardest hit areas are.
I am heartbroken about all the suffering and the losses. The place where I stay survived keeping the roofs etc. intact. Reconstruction is happening. I'm usually in the Keys around Labor Day.I would have been there if it weren't for a dental emergency that kept me home this year.

the same area. Glad it survived and was good you were not there though the dentist emergency, ouch. My Dad & Step mom decided to leave Orlando a bit late so it took them a couple days to get just north of Atlanta. They just got back home this week. Last of of the people I actually know in Florida just got their power back Friday. I worry about those in the Virgin Islands & Puerto Rico. I don't trust Dolt 45 to give them enough funds to rebuild. Still have friends here that have not been able to contact family in PR.

Maybe the thing to do is have a Photography host start a new thread by copying and pasting
the past winners and then add the new updates?
