(149,648 posts)In some ways, not many, the sun is easier! At least you have daylight to work by.
Thanks!

(118,718 posts)We had a cottage that was right across from the moon at night. It's light reflected in the water. My friends and I would toast it.

(149,648 posts)I am using a really nice telephoto lens. It runs from 16mm (wide angle) to 300mm. And then when you crop the photo, that brings it in much closer. I love being able to do that!
Your cottage sounds wonderful. I'd be out there toasting it too!

(149,648 posts)I've been told that I have the photographer's eye........I hope so. I do enjoy playing with the camera and getting images I can work with.

(149,648 posts)That's right, it is the harvest moon.
I was just happy to get some decent photos.

(30,748 posts)That is beautiful.
(Is this why 45 is behaving worse than usual? The full moon?)

(149,648 posts)I really wanted to get a decent shot!
Actually, stories about the full moon making people crazy are just myths. We don't need the full moon to be crazy.........we do fine on our own!

(12,157 posts)The night was mighty dark so you could hardly see
For the moon refused to shine
Couple sitting underneath the willow tree
For love they pined
Little May was kinda 'fraid of darkness
So she says, "I guess I'll go"
Boy began to sigh, looked up to the sky
Told the sky his little tale of woe
So shine on
Shine on harvest moon
Up in the sky
I ain't had no loving since
January, February, June or July
Snow time ain't no time
To stay outdoors and spoon, so shine on
Shine on harvest moon for me and my gal
