I chose it cause I like the idea of the split silhouette. Very old castle, and a lovely day out photographing it in the summer of 2016

made landfall on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in late August 2011 (yeah, it's an OLD shot). Took out a good portion of the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier in Emerald Isle, NC which is evident in the photo. This shot was taken at dawn in September 2011. The pier was rebuilt.
