I was getting low on bread and got to baking. I don't think anything can make a house smell better than baking bread. I usually use half of my dough for buns or loaves and the other half for sticky rolls. The world is a better place because of sticky rolls.

(32,006 posts)I make cinnamon rolls for a church dinner every Wednesday during Lent ... Is there anything that smells better than fresh baked bread?!?!

(1,580 posts)I have a cottage baking business, and I don't think I will ever get tired of the smell of baking bread. I think if someone could create a candle that perfectly replicated the smell of baking bread they would be a gazillionaire.

(1,151 posts)I eat it. I just love that heavenly, yeasty smell. Top 5 favorite smells, easily.
I'm a total carboholic, which is one reason I don't bake. I would eat every bun in both of your photos and then feel sick for a day, but do it again the next time I baked.
Beautiful job, by the way. They both look delicious. I'm partial to the rolls, slathered with Kerry Gold butter and homemade jam.

(51,609 posts)for Christmas breakfast. It is a family tradition. I nibble them slowly to make them last. We are from Phila and they make really good ones there (tons of goo and butter and raisins) but we call then cinnamon buns. The Pennsylvania Dutch have great recipes for these.

(1,580 posts)I know I really like cinnamon and raisin ones too, they make great French toast when you want something a little different.
