We had a really foggy day recently, and I thought I would experiment with my iPhone and see what I could come up with.

(14,559 posts)Cameras. Our bedroom is decorated with enlargements to 19 inches on the long side from my wife's 12 megapixel Samsung. Because of the small sensor, depth of field is exceptionally good and resolution is good enough to define leaves on trees in the middle distance. I don't know what digital magic is performed in the image processor but dynamic range and color saturation is also exceptional.
What they do best is sweeping scenics like CPeggies' and macro. Weak point is the digital zoom and anything not suited to wide angle views.
Besides, the absolute best camera is the one you have with you . . .

And I always have it with me!
