(149,635 posts)I've never had roasted asparagus before, and it was amazing. The Hollandaise sauce blew me away!
The egg was a poached duck egg.......... tasted rather like a chicken egg.
All in all, a wonderful meal.

(90,773 posts)Got to admit though, I fell in love with white asparagus in Germany. Cheese sauce and crisp onions on top. When the white asparagus came in, you'd see plate after plate at the outdoor cafes. Even a few Imbiss stands had them.
