I've never had roasted asparagus before, and it was amazing. The Hollandaise sauce blew me away!

The egg was a poached duck egg.......... tasted rather like a chicken egg.

All in all, a wonderful meal.

Got to admit though, I fell in love with white asparagus in Germany. Cheese sauce and crisp onions on top. When the white asparagus came in, you'd see plate after plate at the outdoor cafes. Even a few Imbiss stands had them.

We are, but we're getting ready to leave a bit later this morning. And yesterday I was a bit under the weather, what with the jet lag and all...
