It is generally accepted in the arachnological literature that adult female spiders build typical webs, while adult males do no web-building other than that required for courtship and sperm induction.

Such wonderful photos. You captured the beauty of the web and the web maker with such clarity. The second photo from the top is intriguing. Are what seem to my eyes to be dots on the web dewdrops?

it was early and could be dew. I more think its connections in the web structure. But what do I know. I can't even tell the sex of the spider

Yes, now that you mention it, the dots or lines definitely could be part of the web structure.

You needed to use a close up lens to get a good view the "parts"?
