(18,635 posts)I wanted it to appear old and it's Halloween. Seemed apropos.
I have others if I must.

(43,890 posts)It says in the rules:
"If Submissions are open to a second entry, there will be a separate post in the Photography group announcing that option."
Does that mean the second entry goes on a second thread?

(18,635 posts)...feel free to remove either of my two submissions.
I only added the prize hog image because I was editing pix from the antique engine and tractor show last week and felt that was a good one that reflects my general interest of mechanized art.

(31,392 posts)You are in for both.

(31,392 posts)All of them were using imgur to host the photos submitted. I have discovered that imgur will say it has resized the photo, but, it hasn't when you get the link.
If you download the presumably resized photo and then upload it again to imgur, voila, it is resized accordingly.
A shortcut for anyone who wants it is to use postimages.org. They actually do resize the photo reliably. One stop.
If you haven't received a DU mail from me, your photo size meets the limit requirements.

(149,627 posts)I'm using SmugMug and they tell me what size the photo will be. So far, so good.
