I especially liked being able to go to neighborhood markets and bakeries for food. Generally small but wonderful.

I barely touched on it. Multiple iterations of everything in there.

I especially liked being able to go to small local markets and bakeries for meals.

We had a great time; gone almost three weeks, and it wasn't long enough.

We are moving to SoCal after Kim retires next year. After that, more trips. We're thinking about Iceland for the next one (or a long road trip through the Northeastern U.S.). Not sure which yet.

Multiple iterations of every type of shop.

We shopped at the small neighborhood shops, which were great.

our collective would go to the market. We’d break up to find the produce we need. We’d then wait until the ten minute bell. When that bell rang, prices would drop, and we’d scoop up as many deals as we could before the final bell rang.

Yusuf Lateef wrote a song about the market.
