Grandchildren

We just spent a week with most of the family down in Denver to celebrate my daughter Heather's 40th birthday, my grandson's 10th, a housewarming and pig roast (which was FABULOUS) and Fourth of July. My youngest daughter flew down with us from Alaska, and my daughter Kristina and granddaughter Sofia were able to make a surprise visit over from LA, which got the tears flowing all around. Unfortunately, Riaz and Aiman couldn't make this trip, but all the rest of us were together for the first time in about four years.

Here are some pictures of the grandchildren.

Heather's kids
Sage, 13

Colton, 10

Sebastian, almost 5

Kristina's little Sofia (14 months), who is a natural in the water. (Kristina says Aiman can already swim the length of the pool at their apartment. Super kids.)

I'll be in LA in November to catch up with Aiman.

And good looking grandkids!

We are having a sort of reunion soon, with 2/3 of ours getting together with us. Always fun to have lots of family around!

Glad so many of you were able to get together.

Wonderful portraits to have for the future. I'm so glad you went to visit. I can now put together who all the boys are OTHER than Sebastian, whom I have missed sorely. He's still gorgeous.
Thanks for these.

time though your grandchildren are growing up too fast. Is that hair on Sofia's hear? Finally, lol. I had to go back through the blog to see if it took Aiman took so long to get hair. Thinking a week went too fast for everyone.

Aiman always had a good head of hair except when he had that skin issue down in Costa Rica. Remember when he looked like a Buddhist monk for a while?

I almost cried to see his curls gone but they are returning and at the rate he is going won't be long before he is deciding how his hair is cut. If pretty little Sofia has to grow up with bald baby pics the least mother nature can do is give her thick, full bodied, perfect hair. (This coming from a a person that has suffered with thin baby fine hair.) We all know she doesn't care right now but one day big brother will be teasing her over it. It is built into being siblings.
